Validation, and Browser Compatibility
- I checked your site at the Markup Validation Service and it showed that your site passed with flying colors!
- I also see that your CSS is valid, though you have 4 warnings that you might just want to check out. I can see already that you have a good grip on this topic and that you know what you are doing
- Browser Shots tells me that your layout appears correctly/the same in most browsers.
- I also took a quick peek at your page source and all your coding looks neat.
Layout and Organization
- I really like your layout, it is very cute and very neat; even though it looks like a somewhat messy desk
- I like your navigation on the top and the hover effects you have used. Under your different navigation links, I also like your “You are here:__” links at the top.
- I also checked for spelling mistakes in which you have none on your index page.

Content
- I am enjoying reading through your pages.
- I really like your “Haiku’s Are Hard” poem I also hope you finish “I’m in love with both of you.” You have a really great Writings section!
- You also have a great Extras page, I would like to see more graphics though, like adoptables, and bullets.
- Just one thought, but I think a back and forward button would be helpful. I know different people have different feelings about them, since most browsers have back and forth buttons, but my thought is that if I am scrolling down a page it would be helpful if there were buttons on the bottom instead of having to go back to the top of their screen to use the browser buttons. I do think that a lot of people are lazy like that!
- I am not sure about your Random link. It took me a little while to get that it brings you to a random page in your site, it is pretty neat but also a bit confusing. I do think you could do without it.
- I did find a spelling mistake on your About page.

- Just one more thought, your H1 and H2 are very similar, I would just suggest making them slightly more different, even if you just add an underline to your H1.
- Also apart from the main navigation on the top, you have more links on your sidebar for different pages. I think that it is easy to overlook them, and that it might be more helpful to place them on the main portion of the page itself. Or for example, when you click you Writings page, it lists different links right there on the main portion of the page. I think if you did something similar to your About page, it might be more helpful and consistent. You could even give your past layouts it’s own page.
Overall Thoughts
Sorry if it seems like I rambled above, I tend to do that sometimes! You have a very cool site, I love the layout, it looks like a lot of time went into making it. You have great writings which I found very enjoyable. I would love to see more interaction on your site for the visitor but it is not necessary. You do have great coding and graphic skills, and I would love to see an expansion on some of your graphic pages!
