Summer Bummer

Hey all! Hope you’re all doing good :) I want to thank you all (my visitors) for all the support you have given me so far!

I wasn’t too crazy about my last blog so I don’t think I’ll do something like that again. If I do want to talk about clothes again I think I’ll end up doing a video and give it a more interactive feel. I’d rather watch things like that then read it. But as always, things change so who knows what will happen next?

I had a pretty good weekend past, on Saturday I decided to move all of Dewey’s living room furniture around (which I like to do often). I think the living room looks the best it ever has, which can be hard sometimes because most of his furniture is hand me down so a lot of it mismatches but we tried to optimize everything the best we could and tried to keep like colors together. There is also this kind of zig-zag theme that brings the room together as well. I’ll take pictures next time I go over (next weekend) to show you guys what I did!

Dewey and I also went to see Harry Potter this past weekend which I found quite enjoyable. Dewey doesn’t read the books so he had a lot of questions and I just kept telling him that they explain more in the books and explaining it all for him!

So far I’ve been having a busy week, but nothing exciting enough that it is worth talking about. Lots of babysitting still, but it’s been fun. We’ve gone to the pool, had picnics, built forts –you know, the good stuff.

I finished reading “God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater” by Kurt Vonnegut which I enjoyed reading, as I have so far with all the other Vonnegut novels I have read. I have now moved on to reading Jack Kerouac’s novel “On The Road.” I just did a review and my mind was still thinking about reading, so now I’m tempted to ask what novels have you read that you’ve enjoyed?

The end of this week I’ll being hanging out at Dewey’s house as some of his relatives from Italy are visiting. I am excited to meet them. I have met a great deal of his family so far, and he has met a great deal of mine as well. They have been very nice to me and I like them :)

Voting for the blend competition is over, but you can still see the entries on the page, as well as who placed where. Prizes will be up shortly. I’m actually thinking of retiring the blending competition for now, until I have more time for it. I also have to put up a new Guess the Movie which I’ll inform when it goes up.

And if you were wondering about the title of this post, I actually got it from a Ann M. Martin book I read when I was little. I know I’ve been doing a lot this summer, I still have to finish my application for graduate school, but I feel like a bum lol.

I Want Wednesday

This week’s question is:
What do you want to NOT have to share with other people?

This is tough for me! I guess like bar soaps, gross!–I think they should be used by one person because I think it’s gross if someone takes your soap and wipes it directly on their body. And other hygenic items meant for one person usage.
